Alexander Richard "Alex" Pettyfer or Alex Pettyfer (born 10 April 1990) is an English actor and model. He started his acting career at age 15 in a British television production Schooldays. He was cast afterward from a more prominent role as Alex Rider, the main character in the 2006 film version of Stormbreaker.
He has been seen as a model in several advertising campaigns for Burberry. His two starring roles were in the 2011 films I Am Number Four, a science fiction action adventure, and Beastly, a modernised retelling of Beauty and the Beast.
Currently, Alex has been cast in the much awaited movie this year Magic Mike which stars Channing Tatum who is a Veteran stripper in the film who teaches a novice (Pettyfer) about the occupation while seeking a lifestyle outside the world of stripping.
